I have a 3 year old matress that was too firm. I would toss and turn all night. I bought the topper and I sleep so much better. I have had multiple hip surgeries on both legs and many rotator cuff surgeries on my right arm. So getting comfortable is a challenge. Then throw menopause in the mix. I love the coolness of the topper. If you are considering getting a topper to soften a firm matress that won't feel like you are suffocating, then get this topper!

I have a hybrid mattress but it wasn’t as soft as I needed. I bought the Temerpedic topper because I wanted a high quality topper for added comfort. I also suffered from hip pain.
